island romance
what i like most about boston? everything but boston.  this weekend, fran and i took a trip to block island. a little island off the coast of rhode island that is shaped sort of like… well, i just looked at the shape of it again and it’s not shaped like much of anything.  but this island had magic there. i wish i were kidding. seriously, there was something profoundly magical there....

clearly, i don’t know as much about Sirenomelia as my friend chance. he writes me this morning: shiloh peppin is dead. she had two TLC specials and was on oprah twice. and she announced on oprah her parents were getting a divorce and it wasnt her fault and they still loved her very much. her parents obviously had not planned on talking about it and it was an awesome moment.
